A Look at What We’ve Built Together
They say Christmas in July is just a fun way to celebrate something warm and bright in the middle of summer. For us at NFTE, it’s that moment when you pause and think, "Wow, we really did that together!" Our fiscal year wrapped up in June, and looking back, we have a lot to celebrate!
From July 2024 through the end of June, we’ve been working side by side with teachers, volunteers, and supporters like you to bring entrepreneurship education to more young people around the world.
Over the past year, NFTE served 75,933 students and partnered with 711 teachers across all 7 NFTE regions in the U.S. and in 31 countries around the world. More than 5,700 volunteers gave their time and expertise, contributing nearly 15,000 hours to support 17,535 students through coaching, judging, and more.
The best part of NFTE has always been the people who show up and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs. We hope you’ll keep being part of what drives our mission, too! If you’re ready to jump in again, we’re always here at nfte.com.

As education continues to shift, more families are exploring alternatives that are flexible, personalized, and aligned with the real-world skills students need to succeed. That’s why I’m excited to share that NFTE has launched a new “Next Level Startup” AI-powered entrepreneurship program tailored specifically for homeschool and school choice learners.
This innovative offering gives young people access to the same high-quality, challenge-based learning that NFTE is known for — now enhanced with AI tools that personalize the experience and accelerate learning. Students will not only explore how to launch their own businesses but also build the entrepreneurial mindset and durable skills needed to thrive in the future of work.
We’re excited to expand our reach and serve even more learners who are ready to lead, create, and make an impact.

Meet NFTE's Summer Interns
Every summer, NFTE's interns bring curiosity, fresh energy, and new ideas to our regional teams. They’re supporting BizCamps, working with educators and NFTE staff, and learning right alongside our students. Here’s a glimpse at what a couple of interns had to say about the experience so far:
“I always love the creativity that NFTE fosters in young kids. As for how NFTE has changed the way I think about education, it has given me a new perspective and a better understanding of the constant burnout teachers often talk about.”
— Penny San Martin, Intern for the Southeast Region, Tech Entrepreneurship Summer Camp Facilitator
"Working at NFTE has changed the way I think about entrepreneurship. Before, I saw entrepreneurship as simply opening and running a business. Now, I see it as more than that. It’s also a mindset, the entrepreneurial mindset that NFTE teaches its students."
— Will Mullins, Intern for the Mid-Atlantic Region

"You're never too young or never too old to make an impact, because I started when I was 6," says Myra Saxena, a fifth grader at Herbert Hoover Elementary School who invented the Healthy Littles app.
The platform will help kids manage their health through fun, interactive tools. It won first place in NFTE's 2024-2025 World Series of Innovation (WSI) Good Health and Well-being Challenge. New WSI challenges launch Sept. 9, encouraging youth to address some of the world’s most urgent challenges.
Read more about Myra, who recently pitched her app at the National Invention Convention at the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan.
